see relatedtoday is one of those days where I just do not want to be at work... feel like dreaming and planning my life away... far, far away... Africa perhaps? maybe just to Seattle... whoever had the brilliant idea of not giving the newbie at work any vaca for the first year is far from a genius. it's been 6 months and i am goign stir crazy...

WE ARE PENN STATE!!!! 10-14 PSU WHITED-OUT THOSE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES... WHOO-HOOO!!!
the psu student section was nuts... they ALL had a white t's and there was s distinct blue "S" in the middle of it all. "whiteout" those buckeyes was the slogan for the game. apparently after last sat.'s game, students pitched tents and camped out all week in "Paternoville" to get those prime seats for last nights game. Gotta' love the spirit and dedication from the fans... imagine what could happen if they took all of that energy and passion and focused on a specific cause???? I bet they could change they world.

see relatedhi all... i am off to a conference in DC this weekend. really excited about it!!! a generous orthodoxy based on the book Brian McLaren wrote. although 2 of my friends who were supposed to be going along with me are no longer able to make it so that's a bummer. it should be interesting though... all of this emergent and post modern discussions about the church and the culture we live in and i just love it- gets your head spinning and challenges your faith and how you live it.

wow.... it's been a while since i was on my site updating it. lots and lots been going on, but now life is settling down a bit it seems which I welcome with open arms. i think these next few months are for me to just take a step back and dig deep into what what my next step forward should be. many ideas of what i would like to delve into and pursue which is part of the problem.... too many to put into action all at once. it's exciting but overwhelming at the same time!
